Bi, Yanran is an emerging media artist based in Shanghai and Providence. She received her BEng from New York University Shanghai and is now doing her MFA at Rhode Island School of Design. She creates poetic and immersive experiences that romancely give forms and texture to the intangible and the ungraspable within the entanglement of people, culture, and landscape. Her artistic practice spans across various mediums, including sound, light, physical computing, and installations. She also works as a freelance graphic designer and photographer.
