Journey To The West

reflects on the current dilemma of Chinese traditional Shadow Play, seeks to improve the ecological environment of the art form by integrating new media technologies. It takes one of the most popular stories of Journey to the West as its starting point. By using the motion tracking technology, the project actively engages audience and breaks the boundary between audience and performers by allowing participants to create their own journey to the West.
